"More and more I become conscious of an ultimate destiny.

I think I have a role to play in influencing the minds of men."

Artistic Intergration

by Laurence Fuller

Pinkie by Ian Betinson

Ian Betinson's pink elephant was the stand out float at the Sydney Mardi Gras. Here at Art Influence we're interested in art that inspires and influences all sects of society in whatever format, providing it is effective. The history of artists crossing mediums and professions has proven to be a highly successful use of creative talents, such as David Hockney's art direction of The Magic Flute. An artists ability to see beyond what is immediately obvious should be utilised wherever possible and fully integrated into contemporary society. Artists at times seem to be pushed to the outskirts of functioning society viewed as radical professionals without any real purpose or contribution to make to civilisation’s progression. But what is perhaps overlooked, is the artist’s ability to affect the state of mind of humanity at large, possibly the most powerful tool one can possess. Below is an animation I developed with artist Marcelle Hanselaar, we intend to develop the project into a live action short, I believe it is a good example of the potential benefit to any creative project that can be gained by the recuitment of a visual artist.
