Brett Bailey is an artist that has been influential to my life since I was 14, when I became consumed by the serenity and at times the incredable force of nature that reveals itself through his lucid manipulation of paint. His forsight to focus on Eastern cultures, their ideals and ways of looking at nature is today becoming increasingly relevant to contemporary society. The purity of his landscape formations are a direct result of his open mindedness to life and free thinking, which also makes for a good conversationalist.
